Since our opening in 1989, contributions from our community and car enthusiasts around the globe have transformed our vision into reality.

We are honored to consistently rank as the #1 “Thing to Do in Reno” and to be recognized nationally and internationally as one of the country’s Top Ten automobile Museums. Our Museum features many one-of-a-kind vehicles that showcase the rich history of automotive innovation.

While the day-to-day operations of a 35-year-old facility continue to present challenges, we are excited to announce accomplishments such as the recent opening of our new children's activity center. This achievement made possible through generous grants from the E.L. Wiegand Foundation, Museum Board members, and dedicated community supporters, reflects our ongoing commitment to education and engagement.
