The National Automobile Museum is proud to announce a special FREE First Responder Day on Sunday, October 25, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
This community-wide event will honor the courageous first responders who serve and protect Northern Nevada. All first responders and their families will receive complimentary admission to the Museum throughout the day.
“We are incredibly grateful for everything our first responders do for our region,” said Phil MacDougall, President of the National Automobile Museum. “Their courage, dedication and commitment touch countless lives every day. We wanted to show our appreciation by honoring them and their families with a special day at the Museum.”
The Museum will feature activities throughout the day, and we warmly invite first responder organizations from across Northern Nevada to participate. Agencies are encouraged to bring emergency vehicles, specialized equipment, educational displays and other resources for the community to view, learn about and appreciate.
This event will provide a wonderful opportunity for residents to meet the individuals who serve our region, explore the tools and vehicles they use, and gain a greater understanding of the important work they perform every day.
Please share this invitation throughout your organization and encourage your first responders and their families to join us. We would also be delighted to hear from agencies interested in providing vehicles, equipment or displays for the event.
