Many will argue about which decade has been our most important, but few will debate that 1910 to 1920 has to be near the top of the list. We fought the first of the great World Wars, dove headlong into the industrial revolution, launched the women’s suffrage campaign, engaged in movements, invented technologies, and created movies and music that continue to impact our society today.

Join us at our Annual History Symposium at the National Automobile Museum on November 3-7, 2021 for a chance to learn about these tumultuous years from local, regional and national-level award-winning authors and lecturers who offer intriguing snapshots and conversations about “Some of These Days.”

In these turbulent years, America faced social reform at home (labor unrest, racial discrimination, environmentalism, etc.) and grappled with foreign relations during a time when alliances, imperialism, communism, militarism and nationalism were at the forefront. The Museum’s History Symposium will explore Nevada’s role in global events, the massive expansion of the Automobile Industry and its impact on society, how a famous fight in Reno had national repercussions, and more!

Whether you’re a professional educator seeking in-service credit or just an amateur history buff, you’re sure to enjoy this fascinating annual symposium that’s gained national recognition.

Registration is $75 (early bird through 10/29/2021). On 10/30/2021 registration cost will be $90.

Saturday lunch is extra.
