VIDEO Second Thursday Talk
Thursday, January 14, 2021, 1:30 p.m.
One of the oldest American cars still in existence is the 1892 Philion Steam Road Carriage on display here at the National Automobile Museum in Reno. It’s a one-of-a-kind in more ways than one. It’s the only car Achille Philion ever built. Philion himself is also a “one-of-a-kind” manufacturer, better known for daredevil stunts than auto production. Executive Director Buddy Frank will provide some details on the man, the car, and the vehicle’s Hollywood movie credits as part of our January Second Thursday Talk.
