National Automobile Museum Hosts Annual Casting Call Event on November 29th
The National Automobile Museum is excited to announce its annual Casting Call Event, taking place Saturday, November 29, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 2:30 PM. Museum members enjoy free admission, while standard pricing applies for all other guests.
The event invites the community to step into the spotlight and help shape the Museum’s upcoming 2026 marketing campaign. The Museum is seeking to feature real people from our region — families, friends, and automotive enthusiasts — in upcoming marketing materials, television commercials, social media campaigns, and promotional signage throughout the Museum and the greater Reno-Tahoe area.
“We want our marketing to reflect the heart of our community,” said Phil MacDougall, President of the National Automobile Museum. “This event is a fun, inclusive way to highlight the people who make this Museum such a special place.”
Throughout the event, photographers will be stationed throughout the Museum, each with unique backdrops and vintage automotive settings. Participants will be asked to recite a few short lines and share their best smiles for the cameras. Guests can also enjoy snacks and classic films playing in the Museum’s theatre during the session.
To cap off the afternoon, Santa Claus will make a special appearance at 2:30 PM in Santa’s Corner — proudly presented by the Dolan Auto Group. Families are invited to take photos with Santa, share Christmas wish lists, and experience the holiday spirit surrounded by beautifully decorated trees, presents, and festive displays.
